WHO IS MEROCKI?
I AM HER! The ICON Designer, Stylist, Model, & Creator of Fashion, Beauty and Lifestyle brand MEROCKI®.
I was raised as a small town country girl in Madison Arkansas, where I resided until I moved to Little Rock, Arkansas in 1993.
I went to college Fall 1998 thru Spring 2007 and obtained 4 degrees (Masters in Taxation, Bachelors in Accounting, Associates in Business and Management), graduating with honors twice. In 2012, I made a very hard decision to relocate to Dallas TX. It took me 3 years to finally settle, but Texas is now my home.
My Passion for fashion designing was sparked at a very early age. I started designing after taking Home Economics in High School. I knew after I made my MC Hammer pants different than the rest of the class that I was going to always rock my clothes my way. Home Economics was my favorite class in High School. I got to Cook, Bake, Sew and Slay! Too know me is to know, I Cook, I Bake, I Sew, I Slay!
I have been designing professionally since Summer 2014, when I debuted MEROCKI during Little Rock Fashion Week.
Since launching MEROCKI®, I've went on to do numerous other Fashion Weeks and Fashion Shows throughout various other states, including, New York, Los Angeles, Dallas, Houston, DC, Miami, Detroit and etc. I also had the honor of working with the wardrobe team at Bet's Zoe Ever, feat Brandy in 2016. I could go on and on....

I think self-esteem issues begin with lack of confidence and wearing the right clothing can sometimes change all of that. So my goal is to produce clothing that will make people feel good about themselves and boost the confidence level for those wearing the brand; which is why my slogan is: Love Yourself and What You Wear.
Fashion is like an extension of me and my personality all the way down to the color of what I wear. It serves as a language; a non-verbal communication.
I will tell you what kind of mood I'm in based on what I wear; whether it’s happy, flirty or relaxed. My choice of clothing represent my inner desires and emotions which I want to show or sometimes hide. See, Fashion gives me a certain amount of freedom to be who I want to be... It's my medium for self-expression; a way to use clothes in the form of creativity...art.
Fashion is one of the art forms that you live your life in. Not everyone likes poetry, not everyone likes looking at paintings, but fashion is one of the few art forms in which everyone in the world takes a part in. Fashion is my life and I want to share my life with the World... I ROCK ME and I am MEROCKI."
